I didn't send my children to fee paying schools, but I am 100% opposed to selling off C4. Can you please explain why you think doing so is a good idea? With some evidence, if at all possible, not just ad hominem attacks? Thanks.

Couldn't really care less tbh although the quality of programmes have declined in recent years -so I've read, in part to lessening advertising revenues (so I've read). Like so many on the liberal left they talk a good game but dont apply their public policies to their private lives.

I'm not sure you've actually read the Guardian article - or if you have perhaps your prejudices have blinded you; for example why shouldn't someone support C4 if they were sent to a fee paying school? And what in this part of the article so angers you; is Michael Attenborough actually wrong?

Not risen to the challenge, I see! 😉 For anyone interested in a more balanced analysis of C4 and why it shouldn't be privatised, listen here: open.spotify.com/episode/1VVyrGEJcdrypm4LkVGM5tNB Don't listen if you want an objective account - and one that shows up Dorries for the moron she clearly is.

Couldn't be bothered to argue the merits of privatisation, couldn't care less either way as I said earlier. It was just the hypocrisy that privatisation is bad unless it comes to the education of the Attenborough family. Nothing you quoted means that the state provision of television should be viewed differently to state provision of education. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

So your support for C4 privatisation comes from a grudge with the Attenborough family... A family I bet you've never met. Bizarre.
