Very annoying that there seems to be a groundswell of opinion including the Labour Party that the Tory MP accused of rape should be publicly named for nonsensical reasons like constituents can't be represented while he has to stay away from Parliament. If the police deem there is sufficient evidence he committed a sexual offence(s) then he will be charged and named.
I know the name of this MP and sources on the internet say he's sexist and dismissive of women yet the DT state the complainant of this sex assault is a man! So not a female victim. The DT also states that those close to him cannot believe this hard working, conscientious MP would be capable of such actions.
Have these fools demanding this MP should be publicly shamed before being charged really learnt nothing from the Nick Beech case and his spurious allegations which saw public figures dragged through the mud, their reputations denigrated, on the basis of made up stories by one individual?

archive.ph/kq679Nutty Labour thinks the accused, not yet charged, should be suspended which will generate his name becoming public, because a constituent might be in danger if visiting him for advice. On that basis I might stop cutting the lawn because the lawnmower is an existential threat to my life. How these nut jobs get elected when they take on board the cultural marxist dogma of the LGBTQ/Stonewall militants that a male transvestite can identify as woman despite being a biological man beggars belief.

As a retired teacher, I can tell you that any teacher (or other person working in a school) would be suspended immediately when an accusation - even one much less serious than this - was made. Whilst their name might well be kept secret (and, for the record, I agree that this MP should not be named unless he is actually charged). But a teacher in these sort of circumstances would not be allowed to enter school, contact any other member of staff (except for his union rep and, sometimes, one chosen 'friend') and certainly not be in contact with any of his students. These restrictions would apply until the teacher was cleared.
So, applying this to MPs, the MP under investigation should be not only excluded from the HoC, but also from all constituency premises and work until he is cleared.

Speaking of sex offenders and teachers, did you know that over 70% of convicted paedophiles work in the education sector? They teach them critical race theory and gender fluidity in class then feel them up behind the bike sheds at break time. What a horrendous bunch they really are.

I'd agree with the process in the case of a teacher because he's dealing with kids and it would be a kid making these accusations. If it was an adult making these accusations he could carry on working at the school (provided the victim didn't work at the school) because I presume he could be anonymous until charged. Anyway an MPs dealings are with adults not kids so it's not the same equivalence.

Or were you the unpopular pupil always last to be chosen for any team? Diddums, old chap. Grow up.

I think the mod's gonna get us GM whatever. I don't wanna go to the effort of posting my research only for the bloke in the Watch Tower to shoot it down.
Let's just say good game, better luck next time.
