I asked Gordy to pass on a good word to which ever one of those jokers in the office is his father-in-law and he said "Ishan't". And then he said a load of other stuff that I don't wanna go into cos it was quite unpleasant. But know this Gordy, I don't think my head will fit up there.

Will wonders never cease. Caught the back end of this today and it's yet another astonishing game from England. I think our last four tests have been up there with some of the best since Oz 2005. And a few since then with our convicted friends.
Shame I gotta miss the climax. Won't be the first time.

I believe that psychology has a big part to play in sport, but this is way beyond my expectations. Suddenly, we look like a good side, whereas a few months ago, I thought we would only get worse once Anderson and Broad pack up. Amazing and great for English cricket. |

So it's all about mindset? Who'd have known? All that talk about the county structure ruining the test team when all they needed was a little bit of freedom. Maybe we should all try it, especially Sussex. I know I could milk a hell of a lot more emus if I had a glass half full attitude. And castrate a lot more bats, which is my other job.
By the way, Holland? really? That counted for sod-all. Sussex could beat Holland.
I'm gonna bring us down already, without a decent spinner & a couple of actual quicks I think we'll have the same old issues abroad. I just can't stay upbeat for more than 30 seconds. I'd be no good to Stokes & Baz.

Looks like Morgan was more important to this batting side than I knew. They've lost the plot.
Talking of losing the plot, maybe Sussex should offer Morgan a pretty lucrative all forms 3 year contract to sort the ship out - I did mean to say ship there. A tempting project for him to get his teeth into. Then we can have 2 OS bowlers. I'll pluck 2 from thin air, Ishant & Chawla. 3 old men, 9 schoolboys, and the rest is how they say... well a court case.
