Time to put the red balls in Brenda's boxes and get out the white ones. How will we do in our opener against Glamorgan at Hove?

Wright Rizwan (wk) Philippe Bopara (c) Carter Rawlins Garton Beer Lenham Mills Finn Is Finn fit Joe? I seem to recall Adrian Harms mentioning in commentary during the New Zealand match that he was wearing a knee brace. Has Philippe arrived and available? Rightly or wrongly I suspect Alsop will get selected ahead of Carter given his past experience in red and white ball Cricket. No doubt that played a big part in the decision behind going for a season long loan. Wouldn't be surprised if he opened with Wright. Clark and Ward may also be in and around the squad.

Looks like Carter played a nice cameo, may give the management something to consider when selecting the final eleven.

Glad you finally acknowledge the decimation of our squad Andy - Salt, Jordan, Wiese, Briggs and Evans going is bound to weaken us and surely can’t represent some sort of plan nor be seen in any sort of positive light, but yes, a good side in spite of that.

We lost the toss and bat first.
Wright, Rizwan+, Philippe, Bopara*, Rawlins, Garton, Ward, Beer, Mills, Lenham, Finn.
Ward at 7?

Guess what. Sound and picture aren't in sync. Pathetic. How difficult can it be to get the live stream working correctly.

Glamorgan need 151 to win. Well batted Rizwan, not so much the rest!

Yep, Rizwan scored 80 runs, the rest 70. Without him It would have been embarrassing. 🥴
An excellent replacement for Salt. More reliable and, hopefully, more consistent.

Will have to bowl well here.
I don't wanna pick on Ward, cos he's young and is pretty much a homie, but he is clearly no boundary hitter. Whoever thought he was a good idea after Rawlins and Garton is dumb, unless they're hiding him, in which case why pick him. I just don't get the logic, Carter, Orr and Clark have done so much more across all forms at all levels as far as I can see. They've been successful at a considerably higher level and are all boundary hitters, especially Carter. We'd have had 170 here if Carter faced those 17 balls.
Rawlins, he just isn't learning at all. The sooner we have Orr, Clark, Haines a & Carter next to the OS batters the better.
