Rizwan out. Game, set and match. Sussex have lost. Send Philippe back on the plane to Australia. What a waste of time, money and effort. Send Bopara and Mills back to Essex, Rawlins back to Bermuda, Ward back to Oxford and Beer back to Horsham. Rizwan and Finn apart Sussex have been absolutely woeful yet again. We are tactically inept. This is the worst Sussex T20 team with the worst captain in the history of the competition. Andrew, Greenfield, Kirtley and Salisbury out! Would Haines, Clark, Orr and Alsop do any worse than Rawlins, Phillipe, Bopara and Ward? To be fair, we have been worse at T20 in the past. Didn’t make the quarter finals till 2007.

Strange question. I was actually defending the current team. Plus Bevan left us years before T20 started. Oh, and where have I said I want Salisbury or Kirtley out? But no of course I didn’t, we’d got the right people at the top of the club and weren’t getting rid of all our best players. Huge difference, and you know it.

What is going on at Sussex Finn apart no bowlers and the ones that have got wickets over the seasons aren't being managed right on and off the pitch, thank god for Riz he's quality and can't see him coming back again as for panic signings of other O/s players 20/20 wise a waste of thes and county's time send em back. To the committee don't think kirtley experiment is working time to change it as your throwing money at this compition Sussex which means you see it as the compition you can win the only one I think and change of coach is needed as it's mirroring the 4 day side better with the bat ,rubbish with the ball.

We need to appoint a coach with international pedigree like Derbyshire have.

Ship of fools. We could have a decent side despite the exodus if we played the quality and form players like Orr, Carter, Clark & Haines when he's back. Not only do our leaders pick a load of T20 'specialists' that hasn't played any competitive cricket for months but they assemble them in the most baffling of orders.
Wright doesn't want to be here, that's why he jacked the captaincy so abruptly. Bopara is a horrendous leader and an even worse player these days. He's having a very cosy retirement though - is he still on the multi form contract he signed up for? It's a bad joke. Between all these fat lad specialists Mills, Beer, Wright Bopara, Ward, probably, you'd do well to muster ten competitive games between them in the last six months. You can add Garton and Finn to that list but idiot leaders just don't see it.
Everyone can see this T20 side is nowhere near previous ones - it was supposed to be all about T20 to Andrew. That was bad enough for us proper cricket fans but if that's gone out the window too where are we at with Andrew? That was his stich.
Gordy, Bevan was with us in 98 and 2000 I think. He carried his share with Adams, M-J, Kirtley and Lewry, and he was a much better 4 than 3, right Ash?

The best thing Sussex can do is offload Beer, Bopara, Mills and Wright at the end of the season (they are not performing, their contracts should have performance targets and they are not meeting them which is grounds for dismissal). What is the point of keeping players who only play one competition (in Mills' case he cannot bowl eight overs in two days) badly? Sussex are not a retirement home! Time to move forward and play the likes of Orr, Carter, Clark and Haines.
