Both sides have lost both games so far and so therefore it is the battle for the wooden spoon. Alsop and Mills for Ward and Crocombe.

This will be a hard game.
I think the chickens are coming home to roost for out T20 strategy. We have flattered to deceive in recent years.
There are too many white ball only specialists. This is nonsense.
We should only be paying overseas that can be with us for the whole season. What are the youngsters learning from part time cricketers. Alsop must play. He has proven to be a good 1 year signing for red ball. He should have played already in the T20. I'm sorry, but if a bowler isn't fit enough to play 2 T20s in a row, then questions should be asked. Disappointed with Bopara's captaincy so far. Let's hope Lenham and Crocombe have tough mindsets.
Ok, minor rant over.
I really hope we can beat Kent.

Players like Wright,bopara also getting pressure from us all.Badly need a victory as a couple more defeats Sussex gamble will have failed investing heavily on one day o/s players. |

Yep, heaven forbid thinking on your feet and doing something crazy like changing your mind. Haines for H-P if he can't bowl, then up the order.
I'd really like to ask Kirtley why he's hiding Ward at 7. If he isn't in before Garton & Rawlins then he ain't there to bat, so what is he doing? You can't pick someone for fielding alone. It's much wiser to pick a good fielder at 12 and just keep bringing him on. He should be up the order or not there at all cos he ain't no boundary hitter from what I can see. In fact, when has he ever performed better than Haines, Orr, Clark or Carter? In any form or any team. All four are performing well at a high level, the thinking behind this just doesn't add up. He's barely played any professional cricket let alone played it well, and Haines is on England's radar. No form, no standard, no nothing. No sense Kirtley.
I hope he does well, this is a slant on our ridiculous management not Ward. Good luck to the lad.
I actually think we have a good side. Lose these morons in charge and get Adams and Flower together. As for Greenfield and Andrew, I would actually sue them for gross incompetence, seriously.
Lose today, it's over already. Nobody goes on runs of winning 8, 9 on the bounce, not in random Mickey Mouse cricket.
