I was about to say the same Devon. Their stream is 50 billion times better than ours, without exaggeration. Get their guy, offer him 10 maybe even 15 grand a year, I don't care, you have to pay for the best. Sussex clearly think it's a road too. Real shame JK still can't see a way in for Carter. This road should be Ward's last chance. And Bopara. Haines would score today. It's frightening Liquid, it is as if we are reading from the same script!! Yes, nothing against the lad, but Carter in ahead of Ward every day of the week. Batting and good fielding (no dropped catches) will win this match. You can have eleven bowlers, but it will be a thankless task on this track. Anyone, who can keep it to under ten an over will have bowled well.

Well fair play. Never let it be said I don't put my hands up when I am wrong.
Yes, it is a flat wicket, but that was some mighty impressive hitting by young Harrison Ward.
New question for Mr Kirtley. Why didn't he bat higher up the order?

Who is this team and what have they done with Sussex?

217! Who is this team and what have they done with Sussex? Steady Joe, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Ordinarily with 216 we would be out of sight, but this is Taunton and one of the flattest wickets in the Country.

217! Who is this team and what have they done with Sussex? It's the best batting wicket I have ever seen anywhere in the world. Somerset could chase this down with 2 overs to spare. 12 an over is par on this wicket. This Taunton pitch is enough to make a bowler want to put a gun to his head!

If we can get Rossouw out before he does too much damage, then we might have a chance.
Easier said than done!!

McCoy bowled well.
Somerset were one man batting line up.

5fer on debut. Mills and McCoy have taken 9 for 65.
Good win that.

An absolutely outstanding performance against one of the in-form strongest sides in the group.
In the last two matches, we have beaten both of last year's finalists.
Well done to all involved. Well batted, well fielded, well bowled, just well done!!
McCoy looks like an outstanding overseas signing. Would like to keep him for the entire Competition.
Well played Harrison Ward that cameo put the necessary additional pressure on the opposition.
As an aside, is it my imagination, but has Luke Wright actually taken to the field at any point in the last two matches?

Who's this Ward guy? Good pick today, first time I've seen him hit a ball in anger. Long may it continue. Stand by Carter and especially my Haines point though. Great comeback from Mills.
That's top of the league turned over, who wants it next? Shame we don't play the 'champions' every week - 4 out of 4 losses for the boat people. Serves them right for cheating on the overseas rule - you're not allowed 11 Afghans who don't have any passports, let alone an EU one.

Well a great win on a night unrecognisable from the first two results the team well done JK and the team.

That was a good win over the league leaders. Ward’s effort at the end of our innings arguably won the game. I reckon Somerset would have chased down 200. As ever, T20 games can hinge on one thing. We face the new league leaders, Middlesex, next. Win that game and things will look promising.

Super win. Well done Sussex. Credit to Ward. Has to bat above Rawlins and Garton. Shame we don't have the WI overseas for all games. Excellent game for Bopara. Now let's beat Middlesex.

On an equally positive note the seconds chased down 218 to beat Essex with Orr scoring 88 off 29 and Ibrahim 80 off 55.

88 off 29, SR of 300, don't tell me he's not right for this form. That's ibrahim's 2nd big score for the t20 seconds too. We need him to sort out our long tail.
The sooner our t20 side includes Haines, Orr, Carter and Ibrahim the better.
