Alan Wells played for Eastbourne a few years ago didn’t he? Don't think he ever played for Eastbourne before, during or after his professional career despite living nearby. Read that he and brother Colin turned out for Brighton & Hove CC before getting county contracts. After Colin was released from Derbyshire, Seaford CC who played in the E Sx Parker Building Supplies League acquired his services and he returned some huge batting scores including at at least one double century! |
