Surrey are unbeaten on 9 points (one no result) after 5 games with Sam Curran top scorer and top wicket taker.
I think our O/S are still Seifert and McCoy for this one. Hopefully Mills and Alsop will be back and perhaps Garton?

What? They've both been pants. You can have Wright Steve, at last. You couldn't get him when it mattered but you can have the old boy now.
Gotta open with Orr and Seafret. CP, sense the room. You can't drop Crocombe after his last outing, he's gotta play. Rest the other old man who can't bowl 8 overs in 3 days.

Is this selection down to injuries, inspired management or more muddled thinking?
Bopara opens, Hudson-Prentice who struggled against Hampshire selected ahead of Orr and Crocombe who put in a good shift left out.
Carter FINALLY gets an opportunity.
I still find it extraordinary Alsop only got in initially by default when Ward failed a fitness test.
Bopara unlucky, Seifert an expansive shot and Rawlins, well just being Rawlins really. Not the best start, need some rebuilding to get a competitive total.
