You often get a hint as to who is playing by whether they feature on the social media posts. So far I’ve seen FH-P and Mills. I fear the Hudson-Prentice experiment will continue Joe. He is not a top order batter for me, certainly not in this format and if you include him down the order the in my humble view you are taking one of the spaces for an all-rounder or bowler unless he is going to bowl. Kirtley isn't helping himself. If Orr, a specialist batter is excluded for either Hudson-Prentice or Garton and neither bowl and it all goes horribly wrong, I suspect questions will be asked. Mills will always get the nod ahead of Crocombe, but he needs a performance. Only glimpses so far this season of what he can produce at his best. I suspect there will be fewer white ball only contracts next season. Can't see Wright being around, Beer seems out of favour, Bopara seems to be getting frustrated with it all and not sure what the contract situation is with Mills. Probably not a bad thing. Clear the decks and start afresh putting together a squad of players able to compete in all formats. |

Lenham is unlucky, not sure he has done that much wrong, but with Khan available do we really need two leg spinners? Good to see Crocombe getting another opportunity. Come on Sussex. Probably, a must win tonight or as close as is possible to being one. |

This could be the end of the road in this tournament for us. After 15 overs, it looks like we’ll be chasing down 200+ which is daunting, to the say the least. Still, fingers and toes crossed.

No point signing Khan if he can only 6/14 games. Sign overseas players who can play the whole tournament. It really is not rocket science!
Mills is bowling absolute rubbish yet again. Mills is Essex's best player!
