The game was lost on extras. 5 additional wides compared to the Essex bowlers plus whatever the extra deliveries cost us. We are definitely not making it through the groups but would be nice to get some wins on the board again. Brilliant effort to make the required runs and sets the standard for the final 5 games,bowlers we need some khan back but he may have been rushed back mills ,bopara,Finn all burnt out from what I can see has beens all of em. |

I agree with Sponge the target should be to get a competitive T20 team already in three years with no white ball only players, give youth more opportunity to fail, and then succeed. no overseas keeper, no T20 mercenaries. no Wright, Khan, Finn, Bopara, Mills or Ward. Rizwan plays as a batter. Without radical change we are kidding ourselves that big money can be thrown at trying to achieve success without youth development. Maybe we need a new management culture to bring this change about.
