C Tear ?
A big clearout is needed at the end of the season as this is the weakest and the largest Sussex squad in the 30 years I have supported the county. We may as well pay off Ward, Mills and Wright and Beer, Bopara, Burrows and Rawlins don't have a future at Sussex. If Archer and Robinson lose their ECB contracts then we need to be certain about their fitness before offering them a new contract as we cannot afford to pay £300K to two players to sit all season on the treatment table. We also need two overseas players next season (Pujara and an overseas seamer) rather than six! We definitely need to extend Tom Clark's contract.
