Cricket has a small enough window north of the border with the dominance of football and to a lesser extent rugby union and curling. This is also a sport in which people of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indian heritage excel compared to other sports. Talk about killing the goose that lay the golden egg by discriminating against the subcontinent jewels in the tiara.
With HRH Prince Andrew in outer Siberia metaphorically speaking, why not reintegrate him into society in a productive role as Head of Cricket Scotland (similar climate) to give him a sense of purpose in a job which has potential to make a real difference and kill 2 birds with one stone?
The bloke is well qualified to take on the role having been an ambassador in other diplomatic and organisational posts. He attended a Scottish school where, and this is recorded in Wisden, he was an outstanding cricketer (much better than you lot, I would wager) topping the bowling averages and coming second in the batting averages and not with a string of low not outs to boost it artificially.
Time to think outside the box (not a cricket one), eh?

Well him or Rolf Harris. There's no way this flabby little piss-ant is better than me at cricket pal, no way. Sure, they all got out to the Ponce, I mean Prince, didn't they. Bet they chucked him a load of pies too. He'd have had them shot otherwise.
I haven't heard much about this, is it actual racism like being thrown off your land cos you're a white Zimbabwean or is it a little bit of matey name calling like at Yorkshire? Funny how racism has different variations depending on who & where. Hmmm...

After Yorkshire, Scotland was the obvious next target. Who next, Wales?
While I never condone racism of any sort, as mentioned on this Forum before, we know wokeism does its best to peddle the issue of skin colour to push its political left-wing agenda.
No doubt, the Scottish cricket chiefs gave up without a fight, having seen what had happened at Yorkshire.
I find this deeply disturbing.
For while many may see this as a sign of guilt, some of those chiefs who were innocent, must have decided, the many months of being ridiculed, pilloried and generally dragged through the mainstream and social media, causing much suffering and anguish to their families, (e.g Andrew Gale), was not worth the battle.
Another sign that the left-wing media is winning its political battle. Back in the 16th and 17th century putting people into stocks and having rotten food or stones thrown at you was the usual way of forcing people to politically conform. Today, it is carried out via the mainstream media.

I'm not sure it'll we Wales S&F, not if they're heading north like you seem to be suggesting. Norway maybe?
You're right though if you think that one mention of race makes big organisations crumble pathetically. There's a much bigger race scandal going on over the last 40 years throughout Yorkshire & the whole country with Pakistani grooming gangs constantly gang raping white children. The police, councils & care systems have swept it under the carpet since the 90s and still are today for exactly the same reason - scared of being labelled racist. All at the expense of thousands of children, never mind some adult male pro cricketer.

Stewart Harris, CEO of Cricket Scotland, resigned along with his entire Board even before the report had been released. Harris admitted, “He didn’t know all the details of the individual cases.”
More importantly, "Multiple concerns were raised against the same individual", showing once again, one bad apple tarnishes others with the racist brush, like at Yorkshire, where some accused, probably, do not hold a racist bone in their body.
PS: How about this for a connection between Cricket Scotland and Yorkshire CCC.
Scottish cricket’s racism crisis took a fresh twist last night after it emerged that John Blain, one of the most high-profile players in the history of the sport in this country, has been suspended from the Cricket Scotland Hall of Fame.
Blain, a former pace bowler who represented Scotland 118 times and claimed 188 wickets, is understood to be one of seven individuals charged by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) following an investigation into allegations of racism at Yorkshire County Cricket Club, where Blain was a player before coaching the academy and 2nd XI teams.

I'm afraid I can't join in the England Lionesses success as the only national team made up of f/t professionals unlike all the other nations. It is deeply upsetting for the Scots who didn't even qualify for the tournament, no doubt starved of national resources can't compete on a level playing field with the English. The team, unlike say France, which has a similar demographic profile to UK, is hideously white and I'm not referring to the team strip or bras. It just goes to show how systemic racism is rife not just in elitist cricket but virtually all sports. Lessons need to be learnt. Remember if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!
