A take on the Sx announcement re the Muslim Athlete Pledge

Articles like this are more likely to foster resentment, another conservative scheme to divide and conquer. Imagine sitting there and being angry that as a Cricket Club we encourage diversity and inclusion.

Brighton & Hove is unofficially referred to as the LGBTQIA+ capital of Britain, perhaps, of Europe.
I believe the full acronym means: Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex,
pansexual, two-spirit, asexual, and ally. I learned today that Pansexual is a term that describes a
person who may have a physical, emotional, or romantic attraction to people of any gender. 

So, when a cricket club exists in such an environment, it is no surprise to see diversity, inclusion
and the rest promoted and supported by Sussex CCC. So signing the ‘Muslim Athlete Pledge' is
another notch on the diversity headboard, especially given the club connection with former
Muslim players.

If memory serves it was Zac Toumazi who really pushed this general agenda alongside the
expansion of the Sussex Cricket Foundation and its many local diverse enterprises.

It's why growing numbers of young people of a certain mindset wish to move to Brighton & Hove.  

Again the strange need to divide, "suckers" . All you need to do is accept people have a different opinion to yours. You dont have to agree with them but if you are going to post about certain topics you should listen to the responses you get without having to abuse.

Why post provocative subjects then refuse to debate with any intelligence?
