Missed a penalty but no way would Seaweeds have beaten Man C in final, not to be played until June 3rd!!
He may want to return to Hellingly CC which is where he crafted his trade before football beckoned.
If BHA had made the final there would have been several club matches called off due to players electing to watch the game rather than don whites on that Saturday.

Played 120 minutes, waited ages to take his pen, 80,000 people watching live, wet pitch, nerves are going to get to you. One player had to fail to score, it’s cruel and penalties are the wrong way to settle games of football. Football is a team game, award the match to the team that won the most corners or had most shots on target, award attacking play.

Penalties may not be ideal but a better way to determine the outcome of a game than corners or shots on goal!

Overall a sorry weekend for Sussex football with only Crawley providing a silver lining to virtually ensure safety from going back into Conference, but as well as BHA losing, Eastbourne Borough failed to make the play offs for the Conference by losing to fellow promotion hopefuls Braintree, and Lewes also just missed out in the league below, not that I really give a monkey's about any of the results.

All hypothetical now, but it had been discussed by the league that clubs could be flexible around start times, longer tea break etc., or even swtich the match to the Sunday, all subject to both clubs agreeing. Not going to be an issue now though.
