www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-65374464Can't stand these vigilantes who want to take the law into their own hands. The victim may have been a lowlife but he hadn't broken into any cars, he was just trying to. Even if he was caught burgling their home the punishment this thick father/son couple meted out would have merited a serious custodial sentence. It was also good to see those 2 selfish oil protesters who scaled Dartford Bridge given stiff jail sentences which shocked them after all the kid glove treatment these eco warriors have received. Like the vigilantes these people can't go around trying to impose their idea of morality on society and stop people going about their daily business like getting to work, ensuring children attend school or attending hospital appointments. At last a wake up call for this misguided movement. What was more controversial was the sentence given to the farmer who dredged a river in Herefordshire which stopped nearby houses from getting flooded. Yes trees were destroyed and fish left to rot but if the Environment Agency had done their job, this could have been avoided. What was just as bad was the ludicrous £1.2 million fine imposed. Really makes sense while he's incarcerated unable to maintain his livelihood.

Pathetically soft sentence www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/pub-landlord-beats-neighbour-70-30044234Bloke commits savage beating on an old man with cancer on the flimsiest of provocation, then invades his home and he doesn't get bird. It seems if you've served in the armed forces, often as an agent of Blair's Govt to fight his futile wars, you're on course for a get out of jail card.
