Phew that was too close for comfort but I’ll take a win however we get it.

Can we have the Sky cameras at every match? We seem to play better.
Great result, great performance.
I did say Hampshire rely so heavily on their two opener's. Get them out cheaply and we were aways in with a chance.
However, it shouldn't have been that close. We got over the line thanks to an amazing catch from Currie and an excellent piece of work from Ward to save a six.
If we had lost, questions would no doubt have been asked of our Captain. Yet again not bowling our overs in the allotted time. More worryingly, what was the thinking about the bowling selection in the final overs? Currie, new ball bowler who relies on swing bowling the eighteenth? Should Mills have bowled the twentieth as he did against Middlesex? Why no Garton? Very muddled thinking 🤔.
Anyway, two points, we may not qualify but a confidence boosting performance and some good experience gained by some of our promising youngsters.

Very rarely these T20 games are spectacular. This one was. The catch of Currie and fielding of Ward were superb. Khan again was disappointing: I hope Lenham gets a game soon. The role of Garton was confusing. Loads of experience and yet batted too low and didn't bowl his full quota. Mills good once again. I hope Foreman gets a game soon. Onward and upward. But beware our T20 performances are likely to be inconsistent.

Carter and Currie were superb.

I’d play Foreman and leave out Currie and Ibrahim. Thankfully Sussex didn't leave out Currie but Foreman for Ibrahim was a possibility.
