Decent signing, an all-rounder who plays all 3 formats.

I expect a couple more in and a couple out but our starting line up in the CC next year could look like this.
Orr Haines Alsop Pujara Coles Carter Lamb Carson Wright McAndrew Karvelas

These two recent signings doesn't say much for the club's belief in our youngster seamers. Apart from Crocombe I am not clear how the others are doing.
Pardon my ignorance, but what has happen to Jamie Atkins, for example - a long-term injury?

Im not sure about that with this signing, hes 27 approaching his cricketing peak and bats and bowls well in all 3 formats.

Pardon my ignorance, but what has happen to Jamie Atkins, for example - a long-term injury? if they can’t get near the Sussex first team, probably not very well. —- Presuming we are in Div Two this would be my red ball starting eleven: An upgrade on McAndrew would be nice, although he has done okayish. Carson needs to improve. Not sure where this leaves Garton and Ibrahim, who both have their merits. Orr Haines Alsop Pujara Coles Carter FHP Lamb McAndrew Carson Karvelas

Pardon my ignorance, but what has happen to Jamie Atkins, for example - a long-term injury? You are mistaking Farby for Salisbury. Farby said at the start of the season that promise and potential aren’t enough, he wants to see results. I think we’ll find a few contracts not being renewed. It’s the only way forward.

If Rawlins can play next year, we still need him for T20. I wonder if Finn will move into coaching, available to play in an emergency. Hunt needs to impress quickly I suspect.

Hunt contracted until 2024.

I hope Sean Hunt fulfils his potential. Chris Wright is a temporary fix at best. We need some of our young bowlers to develop into leaders of the future.
As for Delray, I’m still hoping we see him again, even if that feels like a distant prospect at the moment.
