So a woman called Lily Miyazaki (me neither), British ranked 7th, wins her opening Grand Slam match which is something of an achievement. Particularly when you consider that only 2 other British women even qualified for the tournament!!

Blimey, all 6 Brits who have played their 1st round matches have won. How many will make it beyond the 2nd round?

And Jodie Burrage increased it to 7 making a clean sweep although Lily Miyazaki has fallen in the 2nd round, like most of the others I suspect.
