Just having a look at the out of contract list and thres a few players out there still. Kiran Carlson Billy Godleman Brad Wheal Toby Roland-Jones Jack Brooks Ben Geddes Will Fraine There are many more but those names sprung out to me for some reason. Which (if any) player(s) on that list would you take. Carlson, Geddes, Wheal and Roland-Jones for me. Is Carlson defo out of contract mate? Seems odd that’s rumbled on so long if that’s the case Thats what it says on the page i was on. |

Heaven only knows why Glamorgan haven’t appointed Carlson as their all-format captain yet. They’re another county in financial difficulty and undergoing management upheaval so it’s probably a combination of these factors.

Brooks won't bother considering a move to us and I don't blame him. Doesn't need our aggro at this point in his career/life. Also would've seen how badly things are done here during his loan spell in 2022. Wheal has a hundred contract and moving from a test county to a non test county would jeopardise that. Fraine surely won't want to move from one basket case in Yorkshire to another one. As for Geddes, going from Surrey to Sussex at this point is pretty much surrendering your career, regardless of how many years you may think you have left. I really can't see us signing a decent domestic player again in the 5 or 6 years we have left in existence. The damage to the club is beyond repair. Same goes for the sport itself. |

Would youmock someone to their face with learning disabilities or being stupid? well if its made your day better then good for you. I did read the line yes after it was editted. The fact remains the same we are an attractive county to join, we only missed out on promotion due to points deductions, hove as a location is incredibly attractive and we have a strong recent history of providing players and coaches to England. Are we only supposed to focus on the negatives? |

To be fair to the club, Simpson, Alsop and Lamb are all good solid signings comparable with some of the above names |

Simpson, Alsop and Lamb were all signed before the latest exodus. It’s worth noting that although there have been sightings of Lamb in recent training videos we are yet to catch sight of Simpson in a Sussex shirt.

It’s worth noting that although there have been sightings of Lamb in recent training videos we are yet to catch sight of Simpson in a Sussex shirt. There were loads of Danny Lamb wasnt it the one with Danny Lambs first day at training? |

Surely we need to focus on bowling, out of all the bowlers currently, we don’t have enough depth.
Crocombe
Hunt
Karvelas
Atkins
Currie (white ball only)
Apart from our O/S not enough depth of quality
Unless we play our all rounders as frontline bowlers?
