Nope. Actually play a third seamer rather than two spinners and two allrounders We don't need five seamers plus Haines! We have two seamers and three all rounders. You can’t have lamb and FHP as first change mate you just can’t

Lamb more a bowling allrounder, FHP a batting all rounder.

Ask yourself this, who are our 3 best bowlers? We all know. Now ask yourself is there ever a reason to not play your three best bowlers? We all know. There may be a few morons on a message board that don't get it but that Farbrace doesn't really shows how stupid this man is. There is no excuse for not playing Kojak with Robbo & Seales, regardless of permutations.
Nice batting on the ice rink. I'm altering it again, more than one win for anyone at Hove - a million Mongolian bucks.

Our very slim chance of a victory tomorrow relies on us rattling through them very quickly and the rain holding off. A slim chance is better than none. Can’t see any way we can lose from here.

Put the 90 and a bit overs weve lost and this would have the potential to be a very interesting game of cricket. If we do manage to bat on nicely in the morning and get a lead of 150 you never know. Plenty of encouraging signs just a case now of getting the balance right in the team.

I got to Hove yesterday! First visit since 2022, I was particularly impressed with Ben Sanderson and Rob Keogh, who probably deserved more wickets than they got. The Sussex 'wobble' was alarming to watch, Carter scratching around and losing his stumps twice in an over (first was a no-ball) was painful, all credit to Coles who made batting look easy, and of course Haines! Future England opener? The HP-Lamb partnership was a treat, I loved the commentator saying "the fielders have been moved to the boundary for their own protection".

We’ve declared on 478/9 a lead of 107 nice its only us that can win and you do never know. Dropped at leg slip Carson again. Wonder if one of these lower order batters we can use as a makeshift opener to make room for Karvelas or Hunt.

A couple of quick wickets after lunch would put the cat among the pigeons.
