A member has suggested in a private message that we have too many threads as "stickies", leading to people not being able to see the latest active threads.
We generally make threads stickies, meaning that they stay at the top of their respective boards, when there is consistent and prolonged activity on them over a period of months. Examples of this are the threads about Corruption and about County Finances, which on this and previous boards have constantly aroused interest.
There are a couple of exceptions currently; next week's Bookfair at the ground is a sticky to remind people to come and support the club and perhaps find some Christmas presents (I'll leave my list at the door) and after that the sticky will be removed; the recently established Twitter account details for this board also feature as a sticky in General Cricket Chat while members become familiar with it. Again that sticky will be removed in the not too distant future.
Please let us know what you think. We need your feedback to make the board better for you.

Interestingly, if you go into the forum via the 'Newest Threads' button, as I always do, the stickies do not appear at the top. They appear in the list of threads according to the date of the latest post - as with all the un-sticky threads.
