Sussex have signed Jack Campbell on a deal till the end of 2024.
A left arm quick who has played for Hants and Durham 2’s. Recently been playing for Sussex 2’s.
Can’t for the life of me think why we’ve done this when we’ve got Karvelas, Hunt and Crocombe waiting in the wings?

Karvelas clocked at 64 mph at glamorgan which im not entirely sure was accurate and Crocombe hasnt yet kicked on so he may be looking for alternatives. Depth is depth but id have preferred to have had a batter. |

His stats with the ball in FC cricket are rubbish but decent in 1 dayers, hes probably very very cheap. If he does play in the 50 over it does contradict what Farbrace said about giving exposure to our youngsters in that comp and thats why theres no overseas, id have much rather spent Campbells money on Hughes for the 50 over. |
