Back to the shortest form.
Can we take revenge on Glamorgan? Is Oliver fit to play?

Back to the shortest form. Can we take revenge on Glamorgan? Is Oliver fit to play? Second shortest, Sir, assuming you include the Hundred and don’t include the silly T10 played in Timbuktu.

Could be OK if the predicted mid afternoon showers miss us

Watching live stream. Harms already doing my head in. Does anyone know where Robinson is?

Robinson's absence already being felt.
The ball regularly being despatched to the boundary.
Karvelas struggling. Surely not another big score for Carlson.

Robinson has a niggle. Back injury. Nothing serious according to Dr Harms.

Why always Glamorgan?

This is carnage. We have bowled poorly. Mills showing his lack of captaincy astuteness. He should have bowled himself out already.

Glamorgan and Carlson, the Nemesis of Sussex. White or red ball, we just can't seem to find a way of getting the better of them.
It was just inevitable Carlson would be their top scorer. We should have all had money on it!! At least Labuschagne failed for the second time against us this season.
You can never tell until both sides have batted, but in my opinion Mills aside that was the poorest we have bowled in the competition to date. Fielding was at best mediocre, poor drop from Clark not that I believe it would have made much difference.
This is going to go one of two ways. We are about to witness one of the greatest run chases in Sussex T20 history or we are going lose by a considerable margin.
Unless of course rain intervenes. A wash out or a DLS target may be our best hope of getting something out of this match.

It’s done anyway but in these circumstances you want your biggest hitters out there as soon as possible. Not an orthodox player coming back from injury.

Given how heavy the rain appears on the live stream that looks like game over. We got closer than I was expecting. A reality check that should keep our feet on the ground.
Poor bowling, fielding not great, scoreboard pressure, no Robinson to spearhead the powerplay and the lack of at least one more explosive batter all contributing factors.
Ironically, if we had elected to bat first given the limitations of the Glamorgan bowling attack I suspect we may have won.
Given Kent beat Gloucestershire earlier and the other two games in the group were washed out tonight, although clearly an opportunity missed to put space between us and the chasing pack, no real harm done.
Disappointing and definitely a poor evening, but given how the team have performed and delivered over the first eight games we were due an off night and it would be very harsh to be too critical.
