This is carnage. We have bowled poorly. Mills showing his lack of captaincy astuteness. He should have bowled himself out already. Yeah Mills was definitely the guy to pick out for being at fault tonight

Yeah Mills was definitely the guy to pick out for being at fault tonight He bowled well. But given how well Glamorgan started, I think he just needs to be more flexible when he bowls his overs. Good point made by another member is that maybe we should have bowled first. Anyway, not easy after after a T20 lay off.

I somewhat jumped the gun, they are back on!!
If I was Glamorgan I think I would be more than peeved to lose now. Although from a Sussex perspective if there is one team we are really due a win over it is them.
First ball, Hughes pulls for six!!

All a bit farcical in the end. Reminded me of watching Sussex in the rain at Taunton in a T20 match reduced to an 8 over thrash in 2017.
Not sure what the thinking was to elevate Lamb up the order ahead of both McAndrew and Hudson-Prentice.
Equally, probably would have been sensible to have called it a day when the weather first intervened.
Yes the resumption gave us a very outside chance of winning, but we just ended up losing by a bigger margin that in turn did greater harm to our net run rate.

I have noticed the T20 captains often come in for undue criticsm because people don't understand the tactics. With the benefit of hindsight you can say that Sussex should have batted first but the forecast was heavy rain to hit at 9pm. In that situation batting second gives you the big advantage of knowing what the DLS score is and exactly where you need to be when the rain comes.

Does anyone know what the story is with Currie. He is signed as a T20 player, was away with Scotland in the World Cup, and talked in interviews about looking forward to being back at Sussex for the second half of the Blast. Is he injured or just not selected?

Is he injured or just not selected? He was injured in the WC, not sure what the injury was but remember one of the pundits commenting that he was out through injury early on in the comp, he only played in the first two games.

Brad got a side strain and then food poisoning at the World Cup. He is also under contract to Cricket Scotland. He was at Hove this week receiving treatment for his side strain. He has also signed up to play in the new Canadian T20 competition, in August.
