Some of you will have noticed that this button has recently been added to the forum. It differs from the image icon in the array to the right of the toolbar in that you can use it to post an image held on your own computer, and not just those on external web sites.
Click to choose between uploading images from Computer or Web. If from the Computer, click Browse and navigate to the folder where you have the image file and click to load it.
You can then choose to resize the image, larger or smaller.In this example the image is posted as a thumbnail, which can be clicked to enlarge, but you can set your own display size.
Finally click to confirm whether the image is of Adult content or Family Safe - the latter only on this site, please.
Then click Upload file. When you first do this it will not display as an image but as html text identifying the external site and location to which your file has been transferred for it to be visible here. It will become visible as soon as you complete posting the message in which it is held.
