Aren't we lucky to be able to watch the Sussex v Yorkshire match live. At 101-8, I'm inclined to say NO!!!!!

Bm,
All out for 102 so not an auspicious start. A limp batting display which began with that disastrous run-out. Yorkshire batted and bowled a lot better and deserved to win. Sussex were easily second best although beating the MCC earlier was fun.

Triple wicket maiden for Hobden in the final, Cachopa with 65 off 49 balls and Beer with 4-23 in the semi-final.

Didn't Sussex play a combined MCCU side before this tournament? Scorecard?

Didn't Sussex play a combined MCCU side before this tournament? Scorecard? Not as far as I know. Their first game of the season is against the might of Leeds and Bradford MCCU on 2 April at Hove.

Leopard is correct, according to itinerary on the main club site.
Thursday 19th March: T20 vs. MCCU XI (2pm) at Zayed Nursery Ground, Abu Dhabi Friday 20th March: Emirates Airline T20 Semi-Final vs. MCC (1pm) at 7he Sevens Ground, Dubai. Possible T20 Final vs. Lancashire or Yorkshire (5pm) Sunday 22nd March: 50-over match vs. UAE (11am) at Zayed Nursery Ground, Abu Dhabi Monday 23rd/Tuesday 24th March: Two-day red-ball match vs. Yorkshire XI (10.30am) at Zayed Nursery Ground, Abu Dhabi Thursday 26th March: 50-over floodlit match vs. MCC Young Cricketers (2.30pm) at Zayed Main Stadium, Abu Dhabi
As yet I have seen no details at all on either the Thursday T20 fixture (MCCU) or Sundays 50 over game (UAE).

Well spotted, jimbon. Nothing on the Sussex site either as news of twitter about either of those games.I wonder who is left from the Yorkshire squad to play the two-day game, as those who aren't playing MCC are presumably keeping under wraps for the Caribbean?
