It's Monday morning; Jeffrey Epstein has been 'murdered' (Oops, committed suicide) which means the Deep State and their corrupt and sexually depraved elites have got away with it... again; so with Jofra Archer 99.999% certain to be playing in the Ashes at Lord's on Wednesday, let us watch the lead up to and that World Cup Final Super Over again. Aahhh, that's better. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/49316890

Can’t see Topley being risked in a 4 day game especially as he’s already had some back spasms. More likely that Jared Warner will play. I think Carey will play as a batter
Chris Jordan will come in for Rawlins and Beer for Rashid when he departs.

There is definitely a meme to be had here. 'Monty's Latest Media Mishaps', perhaps, or something along that line.
Monty has now created a Youtube Channel called Panesar's Channel where he is presumably hoping to sell his TV abilities to an established Channel. Unfortunately, Monty requires some further media training as the 'Umms' and 'Ahhs' are all too prevalent and his story angle is typical 'Panesar Pixie' - one of Aussie supporters shopping rather than actual cricket. Monty describes this as 'unique insights'. His 'Agent for the Stars', Clive Short, must be praised for his exhaustive ability to keep coming up with ideas on how to promote his man. The book didn't work, so what now?

Someone needs to tell this poor man the truth, he’s stumbling from one humiliation to the next. I seriously believe the lift doesn’t go to the top floor.

While being an England player can certainly have its downsides, on a day like today when there is no play, you're still being paid and the final cherry on top is cordon bleu food to die for.
Tuck in!
I'll have some of that lamb rack and dark chocolate torte, please. No wonder batsmen get out at Lord's soon after lunch.

What a wonderful and proud moment for Jofra, his family, Sussex CCC, the Club's supporters and of course a great friend, Chris Jordan, who encouraged him to come to England and from there on to Sussex.

Jofra Archer will be the fourth England Test cricketer born in Barbados after Roland Butcher, Gladstone Small and Chris Jordan.

WOW! Does this suggest Rashid Khan remains at Sussex for the whole Vitality Blast? This also means Tymal Mills stays with us too. Great news!
Meanwhile, it appears those behind the 'Euro 20' could not raise sufficient finances to run it. So, what will be different in 2020?

KHAN OR KHAN'T?
It is strange that since the report of the 'Euro 20' being postponed until 2020, there has been no news from Sussex CCC about whether Rashid Khan can continue to play for us for the whole of the Vitality Blast tournament.
As Khan was due to leave the Club after the Kent game tonight to then join the 'Euro 20' why has there been no news? Is there another Rashid agenda afoot? The same applies for Tymal Mills.

Surely as the tournament was due to take place in Scotland, Ireland and Netherlands, your title should be Khan or Khannae for the Scots, Khan or Khanna for the Irish or Khan or Khan Not for the more clearly spoken Dutch. #justsaying

Detailed information on why the 'Euro 20' has been postponed until next year. I ask again: What makes the organisers believe they can get the tournament off the ground in 2020, if the logistics and financial backers aren't there to support it. The company behind both tournaments found themselves stretched thin, with financial obligations failing to be met, as well as operational hurdles....
Meanwhile, the news of Rashid Khan becomes ever more mysterious and complex: Players remain understandably frustrated, with the likes of Rashid Khan and Chris Lynn having made themselves unavailable for the CPL. So, the article suggests Khan can now play for the Caribbean Premier League which starts on September 4th. But wait! Presumably all the places have already been assigned. So, what is stopping Sussex from re-signing him for the rest of the Vitality Blast or... have they already promised Will Beer his place instead and a reason why they won't keep Khan? A tricky one for the Club. Who would supporters choose for the remainder of the T20. Khan or Beer? www.thecricketer.com/Topics/news/euro_t20_slam_postponed_cricket_ireland_scotland_netherlands_paul_van_meekeren.html?platform=hootsuite
