Jason Gillespie's side the Adelaide Strikers come good at the right time after beating BBL table toppers the Melbourne Stars by 11 runs to go second in the table. Phil Salt had a good game striking 22 off 14 balls and taking 2 catches, the first being an absolute cracker to get out Starsbig hitter and danger man Marcus Stoinis. Rashid Khan struck with his second ball of the innings and proved again that his 'X' factor magic is well and truly back after last year's disappointing season. Alex Carey's consistency was once more on show after hitting 33 off 21. This is an excellent victory for the Strikers and they achieve the rare double over the Stars. As the 365 day coverage of world cricket continues, the Adelaide Strikers are playing the Perth Scorchers this morning. Coverage
on BT Sport begins at 10am. Two qualifying games to go. One more win and they are definitely through.
The Strikers won the toss and are batting, so a chance to watch Phil Salt open the innings.
