This Al Jazeera film is going down rather well!
The funniest thing about this tweet is not the swear word Vaughan uses but his abject hypocrisy. He is all excited about the alleged Sanath Jayasuriya corruption allegations referring to it as a case that "will open a can of worms," but the moment England players are mentioned elsewhere he writes, "...p*ss off with your sensational documentary which is doing more harm than good for the game & individuals involved .."
For God's sake Michael your schizoid attitude towards cricket corruption is risible.

It is interesting that Al Jazeera take their match fixing allegation findings to Interpol rather than the ICC. I would imagine the ECB are becoming increasingly worried by the day. I wonder who these 3 England players are? www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/45959393

The radio show 'Stumped' takes a close look at match-fixing and in particular spot-fixing and asks the question. Can it ever be stamped out? www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/w3cswngf

Match-fixing has been around since cricket began. It has never gone away and never will. It has its moments in the public eye and then lies in the shadows awaiting a return.
A sad story.

Bancroft has a lot to say. Think he's some kind of weasel. We all know cricket's a team game Bancroft, from Australia to Sussex.

If it's a team game, then should all the Australian players involved in the game where sandpaper was used have been banned? 😉 It's a tricky one. The whole area of being an 'accessory to a crime' is a murky area, I believe. If the whole team is made responsible, what about the ones who were genuinely against the idea? Should they have put in writing immediately that they were against the decision? In a sense your comment is reasonable. You either make the whole team responsible or you only deal with the ones who have 'blood on their hands'. The latter approach almost certainly means that some players got away with it - of course, that happens outside of cricket as well. It's a tricky one!

The ACB or whatever they're called will enlighten us over the next few weeks I guess - their view on that at least. Personally, I think there's no way the coach, captain, bowlers, keeper and any senior players wouldn't know. Mind you, I also thought there's no way a captain wouldn't know his bowler wasn't fit to bowl before retaking the field after a tuna sandwich - seems anything's possible, so who knows. Very odd the Bancroft is chatting now, has he lost his central contract or something?
