I don't know if it's an ECB diktat to allow free admission after tea during LVC games, but is there any value (fiscal and moral) in having some sort of voluntary collection box at the gates? When I could attend the last hour of a day I would always make a point of forcing a couple of pints down as a contribution, but would have happily paid a fiver or so too - whether that went to the club or an appropriate organisation such as the PCA makes no odds to me.
