Many congratulations to the players, to Nick Creed and his assistants upon becoming the National Schools T20 champions at Arundel today. They played excellent cricket to dispose of Wellington College in the first semi-final - Wellington's total was given real impetus by Sam Curran, who in the evening played for Surrey in tbe Blast - chasing down 166 with 11 balls in hand. They fielded and bowled with purpose to restrict Malvern College to 133-9 in the final, only losing 2 wickets before overhauling the total with 23 balls to spare.
A BRILLIANT effort by every member of the team. Hooray!
