Yesterday this forum had over 4000 page views and 60 posts. Most of them were concerned with the building up and then complete disintegration of our hopes of salvaging some credibility from this dismal season with advancement in the T20. Now that avenue is closed, the Royal London joke is of less than academic interest and the last few championship games will determine whether Sussex finish eighth or ninth, All this from a season that seemed to promise so much, with our welter of new seam bowlers, the advance of Machan, the expectation of polished performances from Joyce and others.
This poll summarises suggestions from some of those posts and offers the forum an opportunity to vote on which sets of measures are likely to bring about better performances next season. Please vote for the one suggestion you think most likely to be effective. If you have further suggestions please post them on this thread. To encourage the widest turnout this poll will be open until Friday midnight.
Please vote now.

No inner circle option saying keep both the Irishman and the yorkie because they are doing a splendid job given injuries/rubbish hove wickets/impossible schedule/constraints of being a little family club?
Oh sorry. Wrong website.

Can we not vote for two changes? That would be a more pertinent option from what I'm hearing, reading and dreaming about.
What's the frigging rush anyway? Leave it open longer if you want more votes.
Missed out your skipper Joe - Wright though ain't it.

He is a great ambassador for Sussex unlike his Irish friend last night! Do we we have an inner circle infiltrator? I'm guessing you voted for No2 Alythman?

I agree with fraudy - why close the poll tomorrow night? Give it another week at least?

Do we we have an inner circle infiltrator? I'm guessing you voted for No2 Alythman? What exactly did Joyce say about Sussex last night? I think he just floundered helplessly and it was demeaning and embarrassing. Especially when vaughan baited him about why Sussex could win t20 games under wright but couldn't win to save their lives in CC or 50 overs under ed. It was intended as banter but it was actually rather cruel. Felt rather sorry for him; but on other hand he never shd have put himself in that position.

Joyce is a top player and I think he's been a good captain for us, I hope he doesn't get too much personal stick for this season, or appearing on Sky. If he was victim to that oaf Vaughan, then that's probably another thing in his favour. I hope he can stick around for another season or two as opening bat and score some runs. Wright should be captain as we look to rebuild with the young players and a few signings under a new management regime, either Moores or Adams, I don't mind which. We're not far off being decent, it's just everything's gone wrong this season and it needs freshening up a bit.

Ok Vaughan's an oaf. Joyce should have not been on Sky last night. Wrong on so many levels, like jokes about multi-storey car parks.

To me it seems we are in this position at the end of every season now, nice bloke though Robinson surely is, and good for Sussex as he has been I think he passed his sell by date about three years ago and we need a fresh face at the top who would not be so cosy with the older players and view the younger players with new eyes. And while we are at it find a new ground sponsor, I hate the name Brightonandhovejobs.com County Ground with a passion.
