Another day, another glitzy T20 tournament in a faraway location with stars and journeymen, old and (almost) new, rich with years and honours and hobbling to the crease.

The teams exhibit both present and retired players. The Brits are well represented with some unexpected names. They include: Michael Vaughan, Paul Collingwood, Geraint Jones, Owais Shah, James Foster, Chris Read, Michael Lumb, Gareth Batty, Graeme Swann, Simon Jones, Darren Gough, Graham Onions, Michael Carberry and Rikki Clarke. From the annals of Sussex Mushy and Rana Naved play. Graham Gooch sits on the governing body.It looks really good fun. Having watched many a past cricketing star play at Newick CC, former supremos like Brian Lara can still play a shot or two. www.oneindia.com/sports/cricket/full-list-of-squads-masters-champions-league-mcl-2016-1949697.htmlwww.skysports.com/cricket/news/12123/10143546/t20-masters-champions-league-how-to-watch-on-sky-sports

The success of Masters Tennis & Golf tournaments has made this inevitable I suppose. If it was available near me I would go and watch.
