Watching England and I haven't been this bored since, well the last time I watched England. Woy is the luckiest man in the world to still be in a job after the horrendous failures at not one but two of the last major tournaments. He is gonna cost us any small hope we have of a relatively successful comp. He just won't get rid of old has-beens and never-beens like Rooney, Milner and Cahill.
Hart
Walker Smalling Stones Rose
Barkley Dier Wilshire
Ali
Kane Vardy
That my friends, is a team that would finish at least third in the group. A considerable improvement on the last shockingly dismal tournament we masqueraded as a football team in.

A thread for any discussion of the European Championships. You're lucky I'm around mate otherwise you'd look pretty dumb by the end of this tournament. England. I had a lot to say at half time but I was in the pub so I said it to real people instead. I'll say this again though, Sterling should be about as close to this squad, never mind the starting eleven, as I am - which is no closer than 200 meters since the restraining order. I must say, I'm not sure it was such a wise move for the 'leave' campaign to send their supporters out to France to demonstrate in their thousands.

And the end of this tournament is now. Several points: Why Hodgson? Why Hodgson? Why Hodgson? Why... yeah. I've said it all along, that man should never have been in the job and especially after Brazil 2014. Serial failure and one of the most uninspiring men anyone could meet - not that I've met him. To my amazement, there was a programme on Sky Sports the other day called 'Sporting Heroes - Roy Hodgson' - does anyone know a TV screen repair man?
As for the players, I have never seen so many people perform so below par on any one occasion. And Rooney, AWOL again when it matters. Worse than AWOL actually. If he plays another game for England I will need the chap who comes to fix my TV screen to leave a spare.
W*****s!
