Briggs simply has to be dropped. You can't afford a specialist bowler that seldom bowls his allocation.

Sussex's NRR took an absolute hammering last night. Still third but three teams immediately below have games in hand. There's a full round of games tonight minus Sussex and by 10pm we could well be in fifth or sixth place. Sussex will probably need to win three of their reamining four, including 'four-pointer' away games at Chelmsford and the Oval, to stand a chance of qualifying...

Could well come down to the last game - I would think 14points would qualify us (looking at other teams fixtures) |
