Getting tasty - 49 runs needed off 30 balls. Possible... edit: 43 runs needed off 29 balls. Run rate required now 9 an over. edit: Torture - the carrot was dangled but then quickly taken away. At least, an improvement on some of the previous sorry performances. 5 dot balls in a row during the 17th and 18th was the death knoll. 17 runs off the last over... never to be. Brad Wheal is now our official Hampshire nemesis.  Sussex "officially" out of the RLC tournament. |

We are poor chasers and Wright's obvious denial of that is very frustrating. I feel sorry for the bowlers, in one-day cricket at least, they've been pretty damn good. Our massive tail and under performing batsmen cost us yet again.

The moderator and others can use words such as pathetic and humiliation but I can't ask for a stat because of my username and the words 'Cor' and 'you lot'?! Unbelievable. How sensitive. Dear oh dear. Before I get banned again for having my laces undone and tie not straight, can someone tell me kindly how many matches (including limited overs) have Sussex County Cricket Club achieved victory from the beginning of last season to present day. Is that acceptable  ? |
