All of the QF's have now been played. More even than the T20 ones with 2 South and 2 North teams through. Our friends in Kent were supremely unlucky and while requiring 12 off 14 balls with 9 wickets down received a howler of an umpiring call.
See what you think

Not as big a howler as Willey being given caught behind from a ball that the TV cameras showed he didn't hit!
The Tredwell lbw was probably just shaving leg and so still would have been out under DRS on umpire's call - but it was too marginal to have been given, in my opinion.
Two teams from the north group and two from the south in the semi-finals, as you say. But all four q/fs saw Div One sides overpowering Div Two sides. The gulf between the top tier and the second tier can be fudged in the lottery of 20 overs, but tends to get exposed in the course of a 50 over inings. As Sussex keeps finding out!

I thought that took an edge personally...

I thought that took an edge personally... so did the umpire but the replays showed that it only brushed the pad... the Kent supporters are certainly claiming on social media today that they were cheated out of a semi-final by two umpires with sinister "Yorkshire connections" (Mallender and Wharf) and that Coles, Billings and Hartley weren't out either...so Kent actually only lost six wickets!

Still not as blatantly wrong as the not-wide against us in the Hampshire T20 game at Hove!
