I have no idea if Kent are looking for a batsman at the moment (though their record this season so far suggests they might be) - but we will definitely be short of a batsmen come the 50 over competition when most of our top 6 are in the '100'.

Interesting that all the red ball players who have been let go by Sussex in the past three seasons, or who have chosen to leave, are now contracted to Div 1 counties. And most of them are thriving at that level. When the history of Sussex ccc under the stewardship of Rob Andrew is written he is unlikely to be viewed favourably such has been the scale of the mismanagement
