I've been very reluctant to display this piece of advice since the whole idea of any forum is to promote communication with others. However members should be aware that there is a sanction they can apply themselves if they find repeated posts by any user to be unacceptable for any reason, or if they find themselves receiving unwanted PMs. Go to Profile and select Edit Profile, then Privacy from the tabs. Towards the bottom of the page there is an option to Block Posts from members. Type in the name in question and then you have options To hide the member's posts (If you select this you will only see their comments and arguments on any thread if they are quoted by an unblocked member) Not to let the member start new conversations with you (This will protect you from unwanted PMs) Not to be followed in your posts To block notifications Please note if you have chosen to block new conversations that the member will receive a message saying that you blocked them if they try to send you a PM. You can select any or all of these options and you will be asked to confirm. You can undo this at any time by going back and unchecking options or the member's name. Finally, you can't block me or anyone else with Moderation privileges, and in turn I will never try to blind myself to anything that is said on this forum in public. I should make it clear that nobody can read PMs apart from the mutually consenting participants.
