For those still in despair at the lack of traditional format cricket in Sussex during most of July and August, there are some consolations in the Second XI fixtures just released www.sussexcricket.co.uk/LiteratureRetrieve.aspx?ID=142310A three day Second XI Championship fixture against MCC Universities (presumably newly admitted to the tournament and I don't yet know how the team is composed, or where it is based and who coaches it now) at Hastings from July 5th to 7th A three day SEC games against Somerset at Horsham from July 19th to 21st A three day friendly against MCC Young Cricketers at Eastbourne from 21st to 23rd August These all sound attractive fixtures to me, held in pleasant - and easy to get to - locations at the height of summer. On edit: I was quite wrong about this being a new admission and Clive Radley apparently coaches the team, details here www.lords.org/mcc/youth-cricket/mcc-universities/mccu-combined-xi/
