Young Sussex players are very much in the news. Tymal Mills has an IPL contract worth £1.4 million, the highest ever for a bowler, and Delray Rawlins has once again rescued England U-19s, helping them recover from 1-3 to an impressive 375 with a patient, measured 140. Last year Jofra Archer impressed everyone who saw him with fast bowling and hard hitting, George Garton took a wicket with his first delivery for the county and went on to impress in whiteball as well as the first class game. Meanwhile players like Phil Salt, Harry Finch and Stuart Whittingham all took the opportunities given to them by injuries and absences. After years of slow degeneration and a feeling that the bus had somehow moved on for a generation of hopefuls it looks as if Sussex now have a crop of great talents to enrich all formats of the game, and bring success back to Hove. The average age of the squad is 27, younger if the overseas signings and the Kolpaks are excluded.
Who will be the next big star to follow Mills and Jordan? Vote for the player that you think will establish theselves as a regular and consistent force this season, bringing success to Sussex and perhaps achieving international recognition. Poll open until Saturday, 25 February.

Looks like I'm not allowed to vote, but I too, reckon Jofra will establish himself in all formats Good luck to all of them though

I can't vote either. What is it with you and ridiculously short time-caps on polls HH? The season starts two months after you shut the door, let a few more people in you tight-arse. Out of spite, I'm not gonna tell you who I would have voted for but for everybody else, I would have voted for Harry Finch.

Fraudster,
Welcome back from your self-imposed exile. I thought you had fraudulently disappeared to Outer Mongolia. First match against Surrey begins in less than two weeks. I look forward to reading your future duplicity!
