I'm glad we were able to keep him. Talents like that are very rare in Division Two and there must have been interest from Division One clubs. We need players like Ollie to fire up the rest of the side. |

Named in the England Lions squad for their 4 day game v Australia A starting on July 14th.
Very well deserved call-up but means he’ll miss the game v Lancs. Arguably our toughest opponents without our strike bowler!

Mind you, if the top three all get single figures, it will make little difference in all likelihood. |

It’s no doubt it’s a blow for Sussex hopes, but those three, helped by Sakande who took wickets in the last game, is not the worst attack More problematic is the batting. In the longer term, we’ll need to bring in some extra bowling options

The Northants commentator said it's a disaster for Sussex. I have to agree although I have to be quiet and hope he goes well.
