Set to play in the 2nd XI T20 game tomorrow v Hants at Hove. At last, something positive on this thread.
So pleased for Ollie Robinson and Sussex.

Following a hearing on Wednesday 30th June, a Cricket Discipline Commission (CDC) Panel has announced its decision to suspend Ollie Robinson from playing cricket for eight matches, five of which will be suspended for two years, and fine him £3,200.
As Ollie was suspended by the ECB from the second LV= Insurance Men’s Test against New Zealand and made himself unavailable for two Sussex Sharks Vitality Blast matches, he is deemed to have served his immediate three match suspension I don't care if Ollie has "already served his immediate three match suspension and is therefore free to play cricket immediately." This was an ECB humiliation from start to finish. Their attitude towards Robinson was hypocrisy personified as they kowtowed to the fascist woke left like spineless cowards. They needed someone to beat with a stick to show loyalty to the increasingly warped establishment and Ollie was the perfect candidate with his "difficult past." Would the ECB dare to castigate Joe Root, Jos Buttler and others? By the way, who were those England players that Wisden claimed had written similar tweets when teenagers? That went quiet very quickly didn't it! Ollie is the patsy. Perhaps, Sussex supporters should rally round and contribute towards his £3,200 fine? It is embarrassing to see a respected sporting body like the ECB, pandering to woke radical extremists. sussexcricket.co.uk/news/cricket-discipline-commission-cdc-announces-decision-ollie-robinson

Anderson, Buttler and Morgan. So why don't we challenge the ECB on this? Counties won't bite the hand that feeds them.

Since the pandemic, the ECB has gained even more power over the cricket counties.
As Coverpoint says, no-one dares to bite the hand that feeds during this precarious time. Only Surrey had the financial might to stand up to them, but now everybody needs the cash to survive and only the ECB can offer this.
It is the same right across the business board. The elites have gained more and more power and can pick off the minnows at will. While Amazon, for example, has seen its profits triple during the pandemic, many thousands of self-employed people have seen their businesses go under.
Imho, we are living through a deeply disturbing period of history.

Ollie Robinson has been released from the Manchester Originals squad to allow him to play for Sussex before joining up with the England Test squad this week.
The 28-year-old seam bowler had been signed by the Old Trafford-based team on a £60,000 contract but after he was named in England’s Test squad for the first two Tests against India, it was decided between England and the Originals, that it would be better for Robinson, who only recently returned from a suspension over historical racist and sexist tweets, to play for Sussex in the Royal London One-Day Cup for two matches, allowing the Originals to call up a replacement, who is yet to be decided.
