So we play Somerset in the semi final. Good to see the non test match counties getting through.

Have Lancashire also only got 500 tickets to be able to limit members and T20 members to 2 tickets each?

Assuming Lancashire have also only got 500 it seems very brave to offer two tickets per member and T20 blast member. Surely they have significantly more members than 250. I know not everyone will attend but you stand to upset many members, don't you? Unless they have been given more than 500. They are also selling via their own ticket office rather than everything via Edgbaston as in the Sussex notes. Just seems a very different deal on offer there to what is on our own website. Somerset saying fans to check their Twitter feed at 9am on Tuesday and Worcester saying information release at 12 noon, also on Tuesday. Strange also that Sussex saying will go on general sale at 12 noon Tuesday, just a two hour window, whereas Lance saying general sale of any unsold next Monday. Assume general sale, via a link on Sussex site, means anyone from any club that finds the link. Be very surprised if it is any different to this www.eticketing.co.uk/edgbaston/EDP/Event/Index/1822

The link I received at 10am doesn't work. Has anyone had any luck?

I failed to get a ticket online, so I phoned. I was told first of all that the Sussex allocation was sold out (this was at 10.25am). Suddenly, he found me a ticket but you must have registered on the Eticketing site at Edgbaston to get it. I feel as though I have been lucky.

Very lucky. I've heard a rumour that all the 500 Sussex tickets had been sold out within 20 minutes after the ticket office was opened, initially for T20 Pass holders and Executive members only. sussexcricket.co.uk/news/vitality-blast-finals-day-allocation-sold-outThe ECB seem to be consistently shooting themselves in the foot right now with one terrible decision after another that only incenses cricket supporters further.

Looking online it said finals day was sold out before the comp kicked off? How many do they put on general sale then and how many get thrown at the sponsors?
To be worse than the FA Cup final allocation takes some doing.

What bothers me is that the other three counties sold, or are selling, via their own ticket offices/ticket sites. Only Sussex seemed to have "thrown" their members at the mercy of the Edgbaston system. How were the 500 were ring fenced?
I purchased tickets from Edgbaston many months ago so was not involved in the free for all, hopefully there will be a few about from people who bought early and found their side wanting. I am normally lucky as I live in Hampshire and can always find a local to resell to when Sussex get KOd. With the boot on the other foot this year then if I hear of any HCCC supporters left with unwanted tickets I will point them onto this site.

5.55 Tuesday. Just noticed single seat available on Edgbaston site in section 242. Hopefully someone may see this and grab it. Worth keep looking at the site as single seats keep popping up.

As a music lover, I am used to 'fighting' to get limited seats. Consequently, I tried to connect through three online connections and two phone lines at the same time. My daughter assisted me and reported that odd seats popped up then disappeared, but you could not actually take the seats. I managed to get through on the phone eventually. I said I was a Sussex member, which seemed to be taken on trust. I was told that the Sussex allocation had sold out, but was then told that one had become available as I was speaking, so I took it. I think I was plain lucky.

It may be 3.30am but anyone who sees this may be worth checking again first chance they get on Friday as ticket currently on sale in section 431 on Edgbaston site. www.eticketing.co.uk/edgbaston/EDP/Event/Index/1822. Edit. Looks like that one has a price error. Keep trying though as one came up in blink 240 not long ago.
