Guys Huge congrats to Northants. But Sussex supporters need to get on board of a promotion season. Yes our home form is next to hopeless our away form is wonderful. Let's go to OT and win!!!! I am not giving up on division 1 next season. Third place and t20 finals day I’ll have a pint of whatever you’re drinking 2015t20everpresent. I admire your optimism. Promotion seems a way off right now.

I wouldn’t call it horrendous treatment by Sussex, let’s face it, it was a few years ago he played for us and has only just popped up somewhere else years later. That said, I agree with everything else!😳😉 No it probably wasn’t, but we didn’t know then how far our stock would fall In hindsight, he would do know worse than those who now have the shirts, but back then we dreamed of better fare

At least, Sussex were consistent with their two scores. I have followed the Club for many years, but I cannot remember a side that has flipped from being ‘very good’ to ‘worse than appalling’ in such a short space of time. Perhaps, it last occurred pre-1998? PS. One hopes both Rob Andrew and Jason Gillespie will now stand together in front of a Club video camera and apologise to Sussex supporters. Then get their coats

It's not fair, and if anyone can't see that they're either nasty or stupid. Which are you two? What's really nice to know is that factually Sussex replaced the lad with a 30 year old Kolpak. I guess he was considered better 'fare'.

With us not playing in 2 of the next 3 rounds of the county championship and away to Lancashire in the other we could go with a three week monsoon or even better a three month monsoon!

JG sounds appropriately embarrassed even bewildered by the Sussex performance as he talks about 'poor body language', honest reflections from the players needed, and not leaving the batting up to the Captain. Adrian Harms then asks Gillespie if taking on this job is a greater challenge than he realised. Well worth a listen. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p07fspfkThanks for putting that up S&F. I’ve never heard JG so jumpy and nervous. He’s normally laid back and chatty but there he was trying to stitch together a reply along the lines of ‘at the end of the day, Brian, it was a game of two halves.....’ Saying nothing apart from the bleedin’ obvious. Sounds of earth moving equipment from back of house?
