Weather not looking good for the deciding test, could be lucky to get two and a half days.

Windies win the toss and bowl first, a surprise given the outcome of the last test.
Jofra, Anderson, Broad and Woakes lead the attack with Curran missing out. Crawley out with everyone moving up one in the order to accommodate Stokes as a batter only.

Crawley out with everyone moving up one in the order to accommodate Stokes as a batter only. Longish tail with Woakes at 7. A bit unfair on Woakes given he has ten first class hundreds, career best of 152* and a first class batting average of 34 (better than Crawley and Curran who were the only other realistic selection options). With Stokes unable to bowl they need five bowlers which probably ruled out Crawley. Curran has yet to register a first class hundred despite passing fifty eighteen times. Crawley has only three first class tons in 43 games and averages 31. Pope has 9 in 39 first class games and averages 57.

I wasn't being critical of Woakes - just that when he is as high as 7, then the tail must be longer than normal.

Jofra will be at number 11 once Anderson and Broad retire at this rate.

Why is Broad below Archer?

Why is Broad below Archer? Easy to say that after the event but when was the last time Broad got a score?

Stuart Broad showing why he should never be left out in English conditions.
Jofra kept on too long again and went for plenty which allowed Windies to avoid the follow-on.
England’s to lose now.
