This is great news for Sussex as Mills is now available throughout July and August for the T20 Natwest Blast. Fantastic!!

Yet another RCB game where Mills is left out today. It would be interesting to work out how much money he's earned per ball bowled.

At least Mills and Jordan will be well rested when they re-join Sussex

Just done a quick calculation, he's played 5 games and bowled 17.5 overs, that's 107 balls. £1.4m divided by 107 is roughly £13,000 per ball. Nice work if you can get it!

It's not a flat fee, it's worked out as a percentage per games played. So it won't be anywhere near 1.4m given the number of games he's missed but still rather a lot!

Don't buy the Lamborghini on signing; you may onlt earn enough for a Porsche

I follow Hurricanes and have to say I’m disappointed with the signing. He’ll probably manage about 8 overs throughout the tournament.

Tymal has had another dissapointing tournament. 8 wickets @ 48 with an economy of 9.72 and has subsequently been dropped for tomorrow’s semi final .

Playing for World XI v Windies at Lord's tonight in Hurricane Relief T20i When diving to stop a boundary said he felt "something pop in his quad". Didn't bat (absent hurt). Good first match of the season Rashid Khan playing too. Looked lively in the field.

I watched the game and thought Tymal bowled well to Gayle. Having said that, in typical Gayle style, he was trying to hit every ball into next week and Tymal was lucky that he didn’t bowl to Evin Lewes at the other end who was hitting everything out of the middle.
I don’t think many people will be surprised that he broke down after only bowling 3 overs.
He gets a very good wage from Sussex and has a contract till the end of 2019. Surely our resources could be better used in an overseas batter for the T20? Someone at the club needs to say enough is enough and let’s not keep throwing good money at someone with such little return.
We have more than enough T20 bowling options without him.
