Lucky to get a contract at all in my opinion, hope it’s a pay as you play one otherwise he’s a waste of money. Would rather have saved his wages and offered Topley more to stay.

The short form of the game helps him protect his spinal weakness, and gives him a chance to showcase his talents to a wider audience. He's playing to his strengths. His performances in The Hundred certainly gave him the best possible exposure. Good luck to him. |

I'm not trying to pick a fight but he gets lots of snide comments in match day threads, you yourself wrote his career off as finished just a few months ago  Yes, got to be the end of his playing career now unfortunately. He’s bowled well so far this season and his batting has improved but he’s a walking injury. How can you be a T20 only player when you can’t play back to back games? Sussex is too small a club to be able to carry him. |
