I like it. Great players playing cricket, if you scrap how it's come about or what it does to the 50 over domestic comp it's all good. Old duffers out, kids in. The biggest issue is scheduling, as usual. I don't like the 100 balls personally but I'm in the old duffer category I spose and if you call it the Hundred I guess you've made your bed.
If they find a way of playing all homegrown internationals throughout, like they do in IPL, it's a winner. I think you have to scrap either county T20 or county 50 over. This is staying.

In Western Philly, born and raised, in the playground is where I spent most a my days. Yeah? Oh crap? I get it now Sharkey. I think it's great. Lots of cricket. Funny how Mills was fit from the start though - thought he got injured playing in the other short game, can't remember its name. Top of the table clash today, Originals v Fire. Wow. Come on Salty, I'm an original you know.

County grounds ban crowd from bringing alcohol into T20 Blast matches. Is there any difference?

Yes, one comp is accepted on here and one isn't.
Got some hum-dingers on today people, we got the Rockets v the Phoenix, the Spirit v the Brave, then there's the Hobos v the fiddlers and finally the Immigrants v the Brexiteers - it's all go today. Except that it's raining so it's no go right now.

Whether you like the competition or not, there's some great TV viewing to be had.

I have to say I am totally into the Hundred, what a tournament. I even look forward to watching the girls, which I haven't really looked forward to in years. My team, the Insensitives, are in action tonight against the Fakers, should be a real hum-dinger.
Still yet to see that one big score generated by that one player smoking it everywhere from the off - 90 off 50 or summin. Been a lot of caution so far, not sure what the highest scores are but there's been no team close to 200 and nobody close to a ton as far as I can see.

Like it or not, we're either on a slippery slope, or this is the thin end of the wedge.

Sadly, it's survival of the fittest. It might surprise everyone to note that I have been pointed as CEO of the ECB this morning. To win the job, I had to make a proposal about the future of English cricket. The key points of my proposal were as follows: - Expand The Hundred to 10 teams by adding South West Extravaganza and Northern Borderers to play at Bristol and Chester-le-Street respectively.
- Add fabulous new competitions, including The Fifty and The Twenty Five featuring the ten fabulous teams.
- After two years, rename the ten teams as follows - Oval Invincibles as Surrey, Welsh Fire as Glamorgan, South West Extravaganza as Gloucestershire... (you get the idea)
- Set up a new League for Derbyshire, Essex, Kent, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Somerset, Sussex, Worcestershire. Give this league a racy name like the English Cricket Championship.
- Give the English Cricket Championship autonomy to run its own affairs.
- Make generous diminishing payments to each member of the English Cricket Championship of £10 million for Year 1, £1 million for Year 2 and £20.99 from Year 3 onwards.
- Players appearing in the English Cricket Championship would not be allowed to appear in Hundred fixtures for a period of five years
- Only allow the English Cricket Championship to play 4-day games (or longer if they prefer)
My proposal was wholly accepted and my condition of being paid a huge undisclosed on completion in five years time.
